Federal Resources Awarded $97m DHS Pandemic Supply IDIQ

Federal Resources Safe Measures, a division of Federal Resources Supply Company has been awarded an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract number HSHQDC-10-D-00009 under FAR Part 12 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to provide N95, N99, and N100 respirators for the national pandemic stockpile to prepare for a potential pandemic. The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five year period of performance, and a total value of $97 million for all awardees.

DHS was appropriated funding in accordance with PL 109-148 for the preparation, planning, and mitigation of a pandemic influenza. Subsequent events regarding the H1N1 influenza in spring 2009 require additional stockpiling for DHS workforce. The scope of this contract is for the buildup of the DHS Respirator Pandemic Stockpile. This includes N95, N99, and N100 respirators to be delivered to DHS’s multiple storage locations for the purpose of H1N1, Avian Influenza, and Pandemic Influenza preparedness for DHS personnel.
