The acquisition builds upon Federal Resources’ mission to increase market penetration and provide its customers with complete life-cycle sustainment solutions.

Stevensville, MD –  April 29, 2016 – Federal Resources Supply Company (FRSC), a leading government contracting company, announced today that it has acquired KD Analytical Consulting, Inc. The acquisition significantly expands upon Federal Resources’ current success in providing high-quality, cost-effective total life-cycle solutions for its customers in first response and special mission operations of Department of Defense, state and local agencies, first responders, navy fleet and commercial marine organizations. In addition, KD Analytical’s expertise in critical infrastructure protection and environmental analysis greatly advances Federal Resources’ capability to serve these complementary markets.

Founded in 2003, Harrisburg, PA based KD Analytical Consulting, Inc. (KDA) is a leader in the support of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) detection equipment and provides worldwide mission sustainment, technical support, service and training to government and military first responders, critical infrastructure protection and environmental analytical clients. The company provides technical support and repair services to some of the largest CBRNE response organizations in the United States.

“KDA’s market-leading technical services, high caliber management team, and its commitment to quality are a perfect fit with Federal Resources’ mission and values,” said Robert McWilliams, Chief Executive Officer, FRSC. “Bringing these unique capabilities into our company significantly improves our ability to service what we sell, providing end-to-end sustainment solutions for our customers who protect the nation.”

“By teaming with one of the nation’s most successful, growth-oriented government contracting companies, KDA can leverage FRSC’s resources and market penetration to enhance its leadership position and deliver our complementary services to a much wider audience,” said Patrick Dempsey, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, KDA. “We are pleased to combine our strengths and offer improved solutions to the military, first responder, critical infrastructure protection, and homeland security communities we serve.”
