The PacStar 461 extends IP voice services to remote LMR radio networks, a capability commonly known as Radio over IP. The module can support up to four radio networks simultaneously, also providing cross-network interoperability.
The module provides gateway services that provide analog (voice and PPT) audio to:
-Radio switches (e.g. Wave Media Server)
-SIP switches (e.g. Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
-Any IP-based network
